The Finnish driver spent five seasons with Mercedes. He joined the Silver Arrows after four years at Williams as a replacement for 2016 World Champion Nico Rosberg. With Mercedes, he won ten races and achieved two vice-championship titles. For 2021, Mercedes decided to call up his junior George Russell from Williams, and Bottas had to leave.
Bottas has been part of Hinwil-based Formula One team, currently known as Kick Sauber, since 2022. After a relatively promising 2022 season, results were worse last year, which the Finn certainly didn't enjoy. This year, he'll be looking to bounce back.
