Lance Strolla fait ses débuts en Formule 1 avec Williams lors de la saison 2017 et y a couru jusqu'en 2018. Il a fait partie de Racing Point à partir de 2019 et est resté avec l'équipe après qu'elle ait été renommée, Aston Martin. Le copropriétaire de l'équipe est le père de Lance, Lawrence. Stroll a marqué le plus de points en 2020 (75) et a terminé 11e. Il a obtenu trois podiums au cours de sa carrière : il a terminé troisième lors du Grand Prix d'Azerbaïdjan 2017, du Grand Prix d'Italie 2020 et du Grand Prix de Sakhir 2020.
