Dutch driver Max Verstappen is heading fearlessly towards his third consecutive Formula One World Championship title. He won for the third time in a row at Silverstone in the UK, his eighth triumph in the last ten races. His Red Bull team also equalled McLaren's 1988 record with an 11th straight victory. Twenty-five-year-old Verstappen secured pole position and drove to another first. Lando Norris in the McLaren finished second ahead of Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton, who started from seventh place.
